What can I study?

Incoming exchange students can pick and mix units from all subject areas, so you have hundreds of modules to choose from. Download the Modules For Study Abroad doocument below to help you when making your application.

Term Dates

Our academic year runs from September to June.

  • International student Orientation: 3rd week of September
  • Semester 1: September – December (some exams in January)
  • Semester 2: January – May/June (classes normally end by April)

Arrange your study at LTU in five easy steps:

  1. Get nominated
    Talk to Home University’s International / Study Abroad/ Erasmus coordinator to check if your institution has exchange agreement with LTU and apply as directed. Once your home university has notified us about you, expect an email inviting you to submit your application.
  2. Submit application form
    Download the Application Form below.
    Carefully read Guidance Notes and make sure you include all required documents.
  3. Accept your Offer
    After your application is processed you can expect an offer letter. Please respond promptly to confirm your place.
  4. Check if you need a visa and book your travel and accomodation

  5. Arrive in Leeds
