Specialist facilities

At the City Campus, you’ll have access to all of the following:  

  • Two high-spec Computer Science Labs  
  • A Cyber Security Lab - for all cyber security/networking-related modules 
  • An Apporto Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) – effectively providing your own Virtual Machine (VM) at home, on the move, or in the labs.  

Each workstation in our labs has a 27” UHD/4K monitor, and the latest Optiplex Plus 7020 (RAM: 16 GB DDR5, Processor: i5 14600 vPro) desktop computer. Ideal for scrutinising lines of code, configuring network devices via console, or colour coordinating a new app. 

After engaging in modules on Secure Development and Deployment, Applied Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Security, I am gearing up to contribute significantly to the tech sector. Attending this University was the best decision I ever made. Here’s to the future and the endless possibilities that lie ahead.
