Open Days

At our Open Day, registration opens at approximately 10:00am. We recommend starting with the Welcome Talk, where you can learn more about Leeds Trinity and what to expect when studying here.

Throughout the day, you can meet the academics who could be teaching you, chat with current students to find out how student life at LTU is like, attend your subject talk, explore the facilities and join a campus tour. You can also visit the Information Fair to speak to teams about everything from admissions and careers to student support.

Check the schedule before you arrive to plan which sessions you’d like to attend. If you need help finding your way around, our Open Day team and student ambassadors will be there on the day to help.

Yes, all our Open Day events are free to attend, but we ask you to book in advance through our Open Day page.

Our undergraduate Open Days take place at both the Horsforth Campus and Leeds City Campus.

The campus you’ll need to visit depends on the subject you’re interested in. When you book your place, you'll be told which campus to attend. 

Check the event information before you travel including the address and travel arrangements for your chosen campus, as the two locations have different facilities and transport options.

Booking in advance means we know what course you're interested in meaning we can ensure you will travel to the correct campus for your open day. When booking, check the form carefully for any questions about the course you are interested in studying and include the information requested.

Most of our Open Day events are from 10:00am to 2:00pm. We recommend you check the schedule of your chosen event before you attend.

Our Horsforth Campus has limited pay and display parking, which is free for guests during the Open Day.

Our City Campus does not have parking on site. There are car parks nearby including Trinty Leeds car park, Leeds Station Car Park and Q-Park The Light. There are also limited pay and display parking options located on Whitehall Road.

Before you travel, please check your Open Day booking confirmation email to see if your course is hosted at our Horsforth Campus or our Leeds City Campus.

Our city centre location is just a 4-minute walk from Leeds Train Station, while our Horsforth Campus is easily reached via a short train journey from central Leeds to Horsforth Train Station (where a free, wheelchair-accessible Open Day shuttle bus meets arriving guests) or via direct local bus routes from the city centre.

Leeds Trinity has accessible facilities to support visitors with a range of needs, these include accessible toilets, lifts to all floors and a lower-level helpdesk counter

Your Open Day is a great opportunity to find out what studying your chosen subject at Leeds Trinity is really like. You could ask about:

• What you’ll study and how the course is structured.
• How you’ll be assessed, including coursework, exams and practical work.
• What a typical week or timetable might look like.
• Whether there are work placements or opportunities to gain experience in your chosen industry.
• What support is available if you need help with your studies.
• What careers or further study your degree could lead to.

You can also ask current students about their experiences of the course and university life. If something matters to you, don’t be afraid to ask.

At our Horsforth Campus Open Day, the canteen will be open, and free water, tea and coffee will be provided to help you stay refreshed throughout the day.

At our City Campus, our Fairground cafe will be open. Free water, tea and coffee will also be available for guests in the Information Fair. 

There’s plenty to fit in, from subject talks and campus tours to exploring our facilities, so make sure you leave yourself time for a break, too.
