Middle East Exam Update
In light of the situation in the Middle East, governments in impacted nations have taken the decision to cancel formal examinations in their respective countries, with awarding bodies invoking measures to determine students’ final grades.
Ofqual has stated that teacher‑assessed grades will not be invoked. Instead, awarding bodies will follow their special consideration policies. This means that final grades will be determined by the awarding body.
At Leeds Trinity University, we will accept the grades determined by the awarding bodies and we will be mindful of the difficult circumstances when assessing the achieved grades.
