Delve into the science behind human thought and behaviour, and make a positive social impact in your career by studying a British Psychological Society (BPS)-accredited degree at Leeds Trinity University.
You’ll learn from active researchers and practitioners with extensive applied experience, who will work with you to develop your understanding of psychology as a science and how it can be applied to real-world situations. You’ll also gain practical experience in our psychology facilities, including dedicated psychology laboratories and observation rooms.
Studying for a psychology degree at Leeds Trinity will give you that first step towards a rewarding career as a practitioner psychologist in many different specialist fields, including forensic, occupational, and clinical psychology. It will also provide you with many transferrable skills that are actively sought by employers and can be applied to many private or public sector roles.
You will be given the opportunity to enhance your CV through work-based learning. This might include spending time in schools, volunteering with mental health or offender rehabilitation charities, or working with businesses on specific projects. We will work with you to find a suitable assignment or help you to arrange your own.
Depending on what psychology course you choose to study, we can also offer study, work or volunteer abroad opportunities.
