Your offer explained
At Leeds Trinity, we know that no two applicants are the same.
That’s why our offers are based on more than predicted grades – they also reflect your experience, academic performance and the passion and motivation you showed during your application.
All offers for our BSc Nursing courses are conditional, even if you already meet the academic entry requirements.
This is because your place depends on meeting the non-academic conditions set by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
These include:
- a satisfactory Enhanced DBS for the Adult and Child workforce
- a satisfactory health check
- a second reference
- an Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
Replying to your offer
Once you’ve received all your university decisions, it’s time to reply to your offers through your UCAS Hub.
Take your time, explore your options and choose the universities that feel right for you.
Firm acceptance
This is your first-choice university.
As your offer is conditional, your place is confirmed once you meet the offer conditions.
You can also choose a second, backup option as your insurance choice.
Insurance acceptance
You’ll only go to your insurance choice if you don’t meet the conditions of your firm choice but do meet theirs.
You won’t be able to choose between the two on results day, so make sure you’re happy with your firm and insurance choices before you confirm.
Decline
When you’ve chosen your firm and insurance options, don’t forget to decline any other offers so you can focus on your next steps with confidence.
