Your first days

In your first days at LTU, you'll be invited to take part in our International Welcome Programme.

The International Welcome Programme is your chance to get involved with our international community, make new friends, and explore Leeds and its surrounding areas.

Below is the schedule for September 2025. There are various activities aimed to assist with your arrival and orientation.

Once you have confirmed your travel plans, please complete the 2025/26 Arrivals Form so we have these details and can provide any support you may need.

International Welcome Week

There are various activities aimed at assisting with your arrival and orientation.

10 December

Incoming Exchange Pre-Arrival Session at 4pm UK time on Microsoft Teams.

10 December

Virtual orientation for new International Students on all courses at 12noon UK time.

15 December (repeat of above event)

Virtual orientation for new International Students on all courses at 3pm UK time.

4 January

Main move-in date for accommodation. To request a different move-in date, please contact accommodation@leedstrinity.ac.uk.

5 to 9 January

Welcome Week for all students.

5 and 6 January

International welcome desk at Leeds City Campus between 10am and 4pm.

9 January

Incoming Exchange Orientation Session, Horsforth campus (room and time to be confirmed).

9 January

Leeds city centre walking tour (ending at the venue for the social event below). Meet at main reception, departure time at 4pm.

9 January

International student mixer at City campus café between 5:30pm and 8pm. This is a chance to meet other new international students and some LTU staff while enjoying some food and drinks.

TBC

International ‘Culture Shock Café with Money Advice’ for international students. Come and see the team for an informal chance to chat, play some games, have a drink and biscuit, take away some goodies, and learn about money in the UK.
