The booklet below includes key information about your course and will signpost you to useful contacts and resources you may find helpful while preparing for September.

Preparation for the PGCE

Download the Preparation documents below (each one is a Microsoft Word document), and have a look at the expectations of the minimum understanding of the curriculum and complete the tasks ahead of your start date in September. These documents will also be uploaded to Moodle.

You can also use the Books for Topics website to begin to build your knowledge of children’s literature for your chosen age phase.

Your timetable

You can access timetable information on the myLTU app under the ‘PGCE Timetabling’ tile once you have registered.

Please be aware that all timetables are subject to change as the year progresses and sessions are adapted to meet the emerging needs of the cohort.
