PGCE Primary key dates

Your programme handbook will be available in Moodle once you have registered. In this, you can see course start dates, semester breaks and more.

Your timetable

You can access timetable information on the myLTU app under the ‘PGCE Timetabling’ tile once you've registered.

Please be aware that all timetables are subject to change as the year progresses and sessions are adapted to meet the emerging needs of the cohort.

Preparation for your PGCE

The Pre-programme Handbook below includes key information about your course and will signpost you to useful contacts and resources you may find helpful while preparing for September.

Download the preparation documents to gain an overview of the curriculum and complete tasks ahead of your start date in September. These documents will also be uploaded to Moodle.

You can also use the Books for Topics website to begin to build your knowledge of children’s literature for your chosen age phase.
