Understanding your offer
Your offer marks the next step on your journey to Leeds Trinity.
This page explains the different types of offers, what they mean, and what you’ll need to do next to secure your place.
At Leeds Trinity, we know that no two applicants are the same.
That’s why our offers are based on more than just your predicted grades – they also reflect your experience and academic performance, and the passion and motivation you demonstrated during the application process.
There are two types of offer:
Conditional
If you've received a conditional offer, your place is confirmed once you meet the conditions.
These might include specific grades, qualifications or other entry requirements.
Unconditional
If you've received an unconditional offer, you’ve already met our entry requirements, meaning your place is guaranteed when you make Leeds Trinity your firm choice.
Replying to your offer
Once you’ve received all your university decisions, it’s time to reply to your offers through your UCAS Hub.
Take your time, explore your options and choose the university that feels right for you.
Firm acceptance
This is your first-choice university.
If your offer is unconditional, your place is guaranteed.
If it’s conditional, your place is confirmed once you meet the offer conditions.
You can also choose a second, backup option as your insurance choice.
Insurance acceptance
You’ll only go to your insurance choice if you don’t meet the conditions of your firm choice but do meet theirs.
You won’t be able to choose between the two on results day, so make sure you’re happy with your firm and insurance choices before you confirm.
Decline
When you’ve chosen your firm and insurance options, don’t forget to decline any other offers so you can focus on your next steps with confidence.
