Leeds Trinity University has been ranked first in the UK for student satisfaction across a range of themes in the latest National Student Survey – marking its best ever set of results.
The University has been ranked first or joint first for eight out of ten question categories in the annual survey of final-year students at 130 universities in the UK, published by the Office for Students, the regulator for Higher Education in England. It also ranked third or joint third for the remaining two categories.
With a response rate of more than 86% at Leeds Trinity, the survey resulted in the University ranked first or joint first for teaching on the course, learning opportunities, assessment and feedback, organisation and management, student voice, the Students’ Union, mental health and wellbeing services, and freedom of expression. The University ranked third or joint third for academic support and learning resources.
The University has maintained its position of first or joint first out of the 11 Yorkshire universities and 20 MillionPlus universities surveyed, as well as first or joint first out of the 14 Cathedrals Group universities surveyed, for nine out of the ten question categories, and second for the tenth category.
Professor Charles Egbu, Vice-Chancellor at Leeds Trinity University said: “The latest National Student Survey is a testament to the dedication and passion of our colleagues across the University to make a real difference to our students’ experiences.
“These results reflect our commitment to providing an inclusive, career-focused education that helps every student realise their potential. Our mission has always been to deliver an experience that transforms lives. That means treating every student as a name, not a number, supporting them to build confidence, develop their talents, and prepare for successful futures.
“Knowing the results reflect feedback from 86% of our final-year students reassures me they paint a genuine picture of the positive experience we try to provide in all aspects of university life. This success encourages and motivates us to continue raising the bar, and I am incredibly proud to see our University ranked number one in the sector.”
