Plan your Leeds Trinity University Open Day - Saturday 12 October, 9.30am - 2.00pm. 

Due to final building works taking place at our new Leeds City Campus, this event will alternatively be hosted at the Marriott Hotel, which is just a short walk from the City Campus. 

Although you won't use this building during your studies, this Open Day will allow you to experience the vibrant city you could call home and you'll be near enough to see the outside of our new Leeds City Campus and visit Clarence Dock Village.

On the day, you'll be able to register your attendance from 9.00am in the Thomas Ambler Foyer. Alongside taking tours, you'll also be able to chat with the academics who'll be teaching you and speak to our current students about their experiences studying at Leeds Trinity. 

This event is aimed at anyone interested in studying one of the following subject areas:

Departure locations: bus and walking tours will depart from the Matcham Suite on the ground floor.

It’s not just what you study that makes your university experience unforgettable, it's also where you study.

Universities come in all shapes and sizes, but we believe our Leeds City Campus is going to be something special. 

Here you'll find everything you need for student life, including accommodation at Clarence Dock Village. 

Don't believe us? Then why don't you find out for yourself by taking a tour with one of our student ambassadors. During the tour, you'll be able to visit Clarence Dock Village and see the outside of our new campus. Please note, that due to final building works you will be unable to go inside the campus, but you'll be able to see it's central location and close proximity to Leeds Train Station. 

Bus tours will leave at the following times: 

  • 11.00am, 12.15pm and 2.00pm 

It is kindly requested that you sign up for bus tours upon your arrival and arrange a time that fits around the subject area talks you wish to visit. 

Walking tours will leave at the following times: 

  • 11.00am and 12.00pm

The walking tours will last approximately 75 minutes and the bus tours will last approximately 75 minutes.

You also have the option to be given a walking map to use on the day and to walk to Clarence Dock yourself if you wish. 

Travel cost support

We want to make experiencing an Open Day as simple and accessible as possible. That's why we're offering up to £30 towards your travel costs, so you can join us in Leeds City Centre and enjoy your Open Day.

The amount of financial support available depends on your home postcode. You must attend an Open Day to be eligible, and you can only claim travel cost support for one Open Day.

We’ll contact you after you’ve attended our Open Day and invite you to complete a travel cost form. You may be asked to provide a proof of address. Money will be paid via secure electronic payment by the end of the following calendar month after you submit your form. Financial support is available per household, not per member of visiting party. No money will be handed out at the event. 

Food and drink

Lunch will be served in the Thomas Ambler Foyer during the Open Day. We'll also provide free water, tea and coffee so you can stay refreshed.

The Marriott Hotel is located in Leeds city centre on Trevelyan Square, just a 9 minute walk from Leeds Train Station. You can also travel by bus or coach. Leeds City Bus Station is just a 10 minute walk from the Marriott Hotel. There is no parking available at the Marriott Hotel, so if you are planning on driving to the event, the nearest car parks are Trinity Leeds Car Park (LS1 4AG), Leeds Station Car Park (LS1 4HT) and Q-Park The Light (LS1 8TL). There are also some Pay and Display parking options located on Whitehall Road.
