Leeds Trinity University becomes Global Student Living Gold Certified Operator

The University became a Gold Certified Operator by achieving gold standard for the accommodation at its Horsforth campus in each of the following key areas: value for money, internet condition and quality, bedrooms, overall management, environmental impact, and care and support.

Leeds Trinity scored higher rankings than the UK university halls sector average in several categories, including safety and security – rated “very good” or “good” by 84% of respondents, parcel and mail management, as well as bathroom facilities – rated “very good” or “good” by 78% of respondents, and laundry facilities and kitchen size and facilities – rated “very good” or “good” by 72% of respondents.  

Additionally, 65% of respondents deemed the value for money of the accommodation to be “very good” or “good”, compared to a UK Uni Halls average of 56%. Sporting facilities, management and cleaning services were also praised by residents, who described accommodation staff as “friendly and approachable, knowledgeable, available, responsive and able to help resolve issues.” 

The University is also shortlisted in the ‘Best Booking Experience’ category at the Global Student Living Awards, recognising the “simple”, “quick” and “easy” process students reported when booking their accommodation. 

Having been ranked second in the UK for student experience by the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2025, Leeds Trinity continues to strengthen its commitment to ensuring students feel supported and valued throughout their journey.
