A former student from Leeds Trinity University has hired three graduates to work at an international technical and search engine optimization (SEO) agency.
Alumnus Dan Taylor, Head of Research and Development at SALT.agency in Horsforth, has employed three Leeds Trinity graduates to work in content strategy, research, production and SEO.
SALT.agency provides industry-leading technical marketing and SEO services to international organisations across multiple sectors including transport and logistics, manufacturing, fashion, finance, travel and tourism, retail and eCommerce, healthcare, energy and automotive.
Dan has welcomed three graduates – Natalya Stecko, Josh Wootton and Barbara Klonowska to the agency, which operates in Leeds, London and Boston. Natalya has joined as Content Executive, while Josh and Barbara are working as Technical SEO Executives.
Dan said: “All three graduates showed a positive attitude and ethic that they wanted to get into a career and develop. With the professional placements and exposure they had at Leeds Trinity University, they had already had a taste of the “outside world” and developed the confidence to come in and hit the ground running.
“It’s great to be able to work with the latest graduates and see that the same employability skills are being instilled now that were when I was at the University. I hope over time that given both our proximity and connections; we are able to develop our relationship further.”
All three graduates have been able to work in the agency’s Horsforth office whilst maintaining social distancing, to undertake training and general client work, as well as integrate into the existing team.
Natalya said: “From studying at Leeds Trinity University, I knew I loved marketing. However, I didn’t realise the numerous aspects of digital marketing that aid businesses in their development process. Through research, I discovered SEO. All the individual elements of SEO intrigued me, and from there, I knew I wanted the experience with one of the most specialist SEO agencies in the UK – SALT.agency.”
Dan, who graduated from Leeds Trinity in 2013 with a degree in Business with Marketing, has firmly established himself as an expert in technical, international and local SEO. In 2018, he won the TechSEO Boost research award, in recognition of his research which he presented at the annual TechSEO Boost conference in Boston.
