SPARK
Turn your business ideas into reality
At Leeds Trinity, you'll have opportunities to develop your entrepreneurial skills beyond the classroom. Through initiatives such as SPARK, our enterprise programme for aspiring entrepreneurs, our Business students can turn business ideas into viable ventures with expert coaching, practical workshops and real-world pitching opportunities.
Working through the stages of Build, Pitch and Grow, students gain hands-on experience of developing business models, validating ideas and presenting to industry experts. Successful projects can also access seed funding and one-to-one mentoring to help bring their ideas to market.
Whether you want to launch your own business, develop innovative solutions or build the commercial skills employers value, you'll find opportunities to put your learning into practice and gain experience that sets you apart.
Exploring London's crime history
Our final-year Criminology, Policing and Law students visited London in January for an academic trip that combined learning with the chance to enjoy the city independently. The group:
- Visited the Clink Prison Museum, which offered an engaging insight into the history of punishment and imprisonment
- Took part in a guided tour of the Royal Courts of Justice where students watched a live appeal case and saw the legal system in action.
- Had time to explore London independently, making it a really positive and enjoyable experience for our students.
The trip provided students with an invaluable opportunity to learn about the history of the legal profession and witness how a live trial works.
