All our Media degrees give you the opportunity to put yourself right at the heart of one of the world’s most exciting, creative and rewarding industries.

Award-winning media professionals with years of real-world experience will teach you all the skills you’ll need to turn your ideas into eye-catching content for any of today’s wide range of platforms – such as film, TV, radio or digital – with a mix of practice and theory.

You’ll work in our industry-standard TV and radio studios and get your hands on the latest, high-quality equipment in our purpose-built Media Centre. So you’ll graduate with an impressive portfolio bursting with exciting, visual content.

The arrival of Channel 4 in Leeds presents even more opportunities for media students and graduates.


Undergraduate Media and Film courses:


Arts and Communication Foundation Year

If you have the capacity to undertake degree-level study, but may not have the required entry requirements to do so, Leeds Trinity offers you an alternative way in to university with our Foundation Year degrees. This initial one-year period of study allows you to develop your academic skills and confidence through undertaking four 30-credit 'Level 0' modules before progressing on to three years of undergraduate study.

Placements opportunities

We're one of only a few UK universities to build professional work placements into every undergraduate degree, which means you could have the chance to work with some of the top employers in the UK such as the BBC, ITV, leading production companies and PR, marketing and advertising agencies. And you could also work in our in-house production company, Trinity Vision, which produces digital content for external clients.
