Trinity Performance is a specialist team of sport and exercise scientists within the Faculty of Social and Health Sciences at Leeds Trinity University.

We work with athletes, coaches and students to offer support and development opportunities within sport performance, health and exercise.

Our services

Sports Performance Consultancy

Whether you are an elite athlete, a sports coach or a keen recreational exerciser, improved performance is something we all strive for. Our consultancy services aim to optimise your performance through tailored testing packages.

Trinity Performance also offers support to student athletes involved with ESTPORT (European Sport Tutorship model for the dual career of athletes). This project aims to enable sporting progression alongside higher education studies.

Health and Fitness Assessment

We offer fitness assessments and testing in our dedicated sports science laboratory to provide an accurate evaluation of your health and fitness.

Whatever your age, ability or fitness goals, a fitness assessment is a great way to understand your body and take positive steps towards feeling and living better or to maintain your current health and fitness.

We measure and monitor factors such as height, body mass index, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, pulmonary function and blood glucose and analyse balance, posture, technique and diet.

Coach Education

We have developed a range of Coach Education tailored to your group requirements that incorporates the latest physiology, nutrition and psychology research.

Sample courses delivered previously include:

  • Introduction into sports nutrition
  • Field based fitness testing
  • Mental toughness

Courses are typically three hours in length.

All our courses and services are carried out using our on-campus sports facilities and specialist equipment.
