You might want to explore a broad range of topics before deciding on a focus, or already know what specialism you want to dive deep into. Or perhaps you're driven by a clear career goal and want a degree that supports that journey. Whether you're an Explorer, Specialist or Pathfinder, our programme ensures you have the tools and opportunities you need to succeed.

'The Explorer'

If you're fascinated by all things Psychology and excited to discover what each pathway has to offer.

You might:

  • Pick optional modules from a mix of areas (i.e. Forensic, Health and Counselling)
  • Build a broad foundation of knowledge
  • Graduate with a versatile BSc (Hons) Psychology degree that fits you.

'The Pathfinder'

If you start your journey with one goal - say, to be a Health Psychologist - but as you study, your interests evolve...

You might:

  • Begin by following one pathway (e.g., Health Psychology)
  • Stay flexible and switch things up partway through!
  • Graduate with a versatile BSc (Hons) Psychology degree shaped by your choices.

'The Specialist'

If you already know where you're headed - such as becoming a Counselling Psychologist...

You might:

  • Choose optional modules only from the Counselling Psychology pathway
