Professional work placements
We're extremely proud of our reputation for producing highly employable graduates. There are many reasons for this reputation, but the biggest is our approach to professional work placements.
We are the only university to embed at least two professional work placements into all our undergraduate degrees - which means that no matter what you study, you will graduate with degree-relevant experience, industry contacts and valuable employer references.
Our professional work placements are a pivotal part of your degree programme and will help you to find your first job after graduation. You will complete a five or six-week placement at the end of the first and second years of your degree. These placements can be arranged in the UK or abroad and in the particular sector and industry which you would like to explore.
Before your work placements start we make sure that you are fully prepared and briefed so that you can get the most from the experience.
