The Chaplaincy plays an integral part in the life of Leeds Trinity University. The Chaplaincy team is committed to living out the
Catholic faith within the University and wider community by serving others in Jesus’ name.
The Chaplaincy provides:
- a social space on campus
- an inclusive events programme for students
- a space for prayer/reflection in the Chapel and Interfaith Space
- a regular worship programme (for all students and staff)
- opportunities for outreach and mission
host a wide-range of events and activities throughout the year, designed to get
students and staff together, having fun, and being ‘a name not a number’. As well as the chaplaincy lounge social space, we organise seasonal events
- for example, the Leeds German market, pancake day, summer BBQ - and regular
events such as ‘Tea on the Landing’ every Wednesday in the Atrium, six-a-side
football and much more!
facilitate a varied worship programme that runs throughout the year, is open to
anyone, and includes worship music nights, weekday and Sunday Masses,
Eucharistic Adoration, retreats and pilgrimages.
makes sense, in a university, that the Chaplaincy is a place of learning and
growth! There are lots of opportunities
to learn more about the Christian faith, as well as to grow in understanding of
other faiths, particularly through Interfaith week.
