Subject Focus Days

Media Overview

Put yourself at the heart of one of the world’s most creative and exciting industries by studying one of our Media degrees.

Award-winning media professionals with years of industry experience will teach you the theory and practice you need to develop your ideas for today’s range of platforms.

You’ll develop your technical skills by working on projects in our industry-standard TV and radio studios, while going hands-on with the latest equipment in our purpose-built Media Centre.

Having professional experience is crucial to standing out in a competitive job market. We’re one of only a few UK universities to include professional work placements with every degree, which you can complete in the UK or abroad.

“Having the chance to work with broadcasting giants and leading production companies means you’ll graduate with an impressive portfolio and invaluable industry contacts that will truly set you apart from the competition.”
