Whatever your ambitions, studying for a degree in law will provide you with the knowledge, skills and experience you need to launch a successful legal career.
We offer two pathways: Law, and Criminology and Law. Our LLB Law programme is a fully qualifying law degree, which means you’ll complete the first stage of training for your career as a barrister or solicitor. The Criminology and Law programme focuses on criminal justice, preparing you for a career in a wide range of paralegal and social services.
Unlike most other law courses, you’ll learn in small groups, receiving the personal support and guidance that we are renowned for. This will help you acquire legal knowledge and understanding but, more importantly, it will develop the legal mindset you need to apply that knowledge effectively and accurately when analysing case studies.
“Prepare for your legal career in Leeds – one of the UK’s major legal centres. The Law programme is a fully qualifying law degree, so you’ll complete the first stage of your career as a barrister or solicitor.”
