Delve into the science behind human thought and behaviour by studying Psychology.

We offer several pathways in Psychology giving you the chance to gain a broad understanding of Psychology or to specialise in a specific area, such as Counselling, Child Development, Sport or Forensic Psychology. Alternatively, we offer degrees which give you an insight into the study of Psychology alongside Criminology or Sociology.

All our BSc (Hons) Psychology programmes are accredited by the British Psychological Society.

You’ll learn from active researchers with extensive applied experience, who will work with you to develop your knowledge and research skills. You’ll also gain practical experience in our psychology facilities, including dedicated psychology laboratories and observation rooms.

All our courses include professional work placements, so you’ll gain invaluable experience while you study. Our established links with schools, prisons, mental health organisations and the NHS, as well as charities such as Samaritans and Alzheimer’s Society, mean there are a wide range of placement options available.

We also offer plenty of opportunities to add value to your university experience and enhance your CV. Depending on the degree you choose, you can study, work or volunteer overseas.

We’re proud to consistently develop ethical, reflective and responsible practitioners across a range of specialisations – could you be one of them?

All our undergraduate Psychology degrees are accredited by the British Psychological Society.
