Tuition fees and loans

Tuition Fee Amounts

Three-year and two-year Undergraduate honours Degree courses and Foundation Year courses (Level 0 prior to continuing on to a linked three-year Undergraduate honours Degree course) are £9,250 per year for tuition fees in 2023-24 and 2024-25.

Part-time tuition fees would be pro-rated according to the number of credits you are studying.

Paying your tuition fees

Eligible UK Home students can apply for a tuition fee loan to cover the cost of their tuition fees from the government which you repay gradually through monthly repayments.

Students who do not take out a tuition fee loan or who are not eligible for a tuition fee loan will need to make payment of the tuition fees directly to Leeds Trinity in line with the Student Financial Regulations. For more information on paying your fees yourself directly to Leeds Trinity please contact Finance@leedstrinity.ac.uk

Support for essential living costs and other costs

Eligible UK students on a full-time course can apply for a package of maintenance funding from the government to help with general living costs, and additional funding if they have children and/or a disability. Part-time students from England and Wales can apply for a part-time maintenance loan.

Repaying your loans

As a full-time student, you will not start repaying your loan until the April after you leave university, and once you're earning over a set threshold. The threshold depends on which funding body your student finance is from (e.g. Student Finance England / Student Finance Northern Ireland etc.) and which year you started Higher Education. For more information visit the Repaying Your Student Loan page of the Gov.uk website.

Where to get more information

English students can apply and find out more information on the Student Finance section of the gov.uk website.
