About this course

You will have the opportunity to gain the skills and experience you need to stand out in this highly competitive field; from basic banking theory and techniques, current practices and priorities to strategic level financial analysis and mastery of corporate banking policy.

You will study a broad range of subjects which will give you an in-depth understanding of the structure and functioning of financial markets and the way in which financial intermediaries and institutions operate, the pricing of financial assets and why and how corporations choose and issue various types of assets.

In addition to modules focusing on micro and macroeconomics, you will acquire skills in quantitative and statistical analysis, and gain a sound understanding of financial recording and cost classification.

We will teach you how to confidently begin to build towards your personal career goals and aspirations. All work is geared towards the creation of an impressive career entry profile, giving you the chance to develop the knowledge, skills and attributes required to kick-start a successful future in corporate finance and banking.

Student Finance

UK & EU Students:

Tuition fees cost £9,250 a year for this course in 2020/2021.

Part-time tuition fees will be pro-rated accordingly to the number of credits you're studying. Depending on government policy, tuition fees may rise with inflation in future years.

Tuition fees for 2021/22 entry will be set in summer 2020.

Living costs, e.g. accommodation, travel, food, will also need to be taken into consideration.

Leeds Trinity offers a range of bursaries and scholarships to help support students while you study.

International Students:

Tuition fees cost £12,000 per year for this course starting in 2020/21. Part-time study is not available for international students on a Tier 4 Student Visa. 

Additional costs

We advise students to budget for the following in addition to annual tuition fees:

  • Recommended and required reading lists will be provided at the start of your course. All the books and e-books are available from our Library to borrow but you may choose to purchase your own.
  • Field trips may occur during this course and they will be either fully or partly subsidised by the University. More details will be provided at the start of the course.
  • You'll need to include placement/s travel and associated costs too, however the University will contribute a standard amount towards your total expenditure.
  • The University provides students with a £6 printing credit each academic year which can be topped up either on campus or online
