Graduates from the Class of 2021 can apply for up to a maximum of £500 to support with removing barriers which hinder career prospects.

As part of the application process, claimants will be required to provide a full breakdown of how the money applied for will be spent.

Awarding Criteria

We cannot guarantee funding to every application and a panel will award successful applicants based on the following criteria:

  1. Our Fund will be inclusive and celebrate the diversity of Leeds Trinity University and our community. Therefore, we will make sure that across our awardees we:

    - Recognise graduates from a variety of different courses, circumstances, and backgrounds.

    - Support a range of different requests, projects and aspirations.

  2. Our Fund will address hardship and be targeted towards graduates who are unlikely to be able to find funding and support from other sources.

  3. Our Fund will support the pursuit of clear impacts that can make a sustainable difference to employability outcomes over time.

  4. Our Fund will be allocated in a way that represents value for money against the investment made by Leeds Trinity University.

What could the money be used for

This money could be used to remove barriers to your career development including:

  • Courses or qualifications- Do you need to undertake an accredited short course or work based qualification to secure your dream job?

  • Starting your Own Business- Do you need funding to kickstart your own business?
