"I hadn’t really considered Leeds Trinity initially, but I visited on an Open Day and was really impressed by the feel of the place. You really do get treated as an individual.
I love my Undergraduate Degree, and have found going to university an incredibly stimulating experience. I genuinely do get something out of every single lecture I attend. My tutors really show a personal interest in me and have been so supportive. The more I read, the more I want to know, and the more I feel how little I know! I want to go on to do a Postgraduate Degree and then go into teaching – my advice to anyone is never give up learning.
As a mature student, at first I was nervous about studying with much younger people, but everyone is so friendly and I feel very comfortable now. The Chaplaincy has been a great way to get involved in the campus community in a very caring way.
For me, the biggest challenge has been financial, as I have gone from full-time employment to taking a student loan. So I have to be self-disciplined and feel that I am constantly juggling. But it is so worth it. If I could, I would bottle this whole experience – it really has been life-changing."

The reason I came to Leeds Trinity was to enjoy university at its best. Since I’ve been here, I’ve made loads of great friends and also become more responsible by dealing with course deadlines. I feel that I definitely made the right decision in coming to Leeds Trinity as it has given me the best years of my life to date.
