Clearing Hotline

Didn’t get the results you wanted? Or were your results better than expected and you’re now reconsidering your options?

Whatever your circumstances, if you’re still looking for a place on a degree course starting in 2014, call our Clearing hotline on 0113 283 7123 and we can help.

What courses are available?
Click here to find the full list of available courses starting in September 2014. We’ll update this list as courses fill up and vacancies become available in other programmes.
How do I apply for a course?
You can either apply through UCAS, or direct through Leeds Trinity, depending on your circumstances. Find out more here.
How to refer yourself in Clearing
Login to UCAS Track and select Referring Clearing. For the Institution Code enter L24 then enter your course code (you can find this on our website here) and for the Campus Code field this can be left blank as we don't have one.
Who can I call about Clearing?
Call 0113 283 7123, and you’ll get straight through to our Student Administration team who are there to discuss your options with you.
We know Clearing can be a stressful time, so to speed things up and make things easier for you, make sure you have the following information ready when you call:
  • Your Clearing number (6 digit number)
  • Your UCAS application number/Personal ID number (if applicable)
  • Details of your qualifications, including GCSE results
Can I speak to students or academic staff?
Absolutely! We know that current Leeds Trinity students are the best people you can chat to for a taste of what life is really like here, so we’ve got lots of students on hand to answer your questions throughout Clearing. When you call 0113 283 7123, just ask to speak to a student when you’ve finished with our Student Administration team.
The same goes for academic staff – if you’ve got specific questions about your chosen course, just ask to speak to a lecturer, who’ll be on hand throughout Clearing.
When is the Clearing hotline open?
Clearing started on 1 July, and you can call anytime during office hours (Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4pm).
The busiest period will be from Thursday 14 August, which is A Level results day.
During this period, lines will be open at the following times:
Thursday 14 August      8am – 8pm
Friday 15 August           8am – 6pm
Saturday 16 August       9am – 1pm
Sunday 17 August         9am – 1pm
Monday 18 August onwards normal office hours (Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4pm)
Saturday 23 August       9am - 1pm
Can I come and visit Leeds Trinity during Clearing?
You can indeed, we’d love to meet you! Between Friday 15 August and Saturday 23 August, we’ll be open during the week 11am - 2pm and 9am - 1pm on the weekend dates.
To make sure you get to see everything Leeds Trinity has to offer, one of our Student Ambassadors will guide you on a campus tour. Remember, these students are currently studying at Leeds Trinity, so they are well placed to answer any questions you have.

You don’t need to book in advance, just turn up on the day and we’ll be there to welcome you. If you would like to speak to someone in advance about campus tours, then just call 0113 283 7150 or email Callie Hoover at to tell us a bit more about you and your requirements.
What if I’m looking for a place to start in 2015?
We’d love to have you with us then, have a look at our course availability here.  Please note that you cannot apply through Clearing now for a place in 2015.  You can apply for 2015 via UCAS from September 2014.
