Student Satisfaction

Leeds Trinity University > Student Satisfaction

Did you know that we score highly for overall student satisfaction?

87% of our students are satisfied with their course according to the 2018 National Student Survey, which gathers feedback from final-year students about their university experience.

Why do we score so highly for student satisfaction?

It's pretty simple. For over 50 years, we've been committed to give our students a truly personalised university experience. This means that our students can access a wide range of support, tailored to them, at every stage of their university journey.

One-to-one support

As soon as you become a Leeds Trinity student, you'll be assigned a development tutor. They'll take the time to get to know you and your learning needs throughout your degree, giving you personalised academic support and keeping you on track with your studies.

Our class sizes are a lot smaller than other universities, which means you'll have regular opportunities to talk to your tutor one-on-one. It's just one of the many reasons that we’re in the top 25 of all UK universisties for teaching and course satisfaction (Guardian University Guide 2020).

Student support

At the heart of our campus, you'll find our Student Support services. It's there to help you with a range of personal and academic issues, with friendly and committed staff who will make sure you get the support you need.

Academic skills support

We understand that no two students learn in the same way. That's why we set up our Learning Hub, which gives students access to personalised academic and study skills support. You can also work with our peer learning mentors, who are experienced students who can support you with everything from the transition to university, to writing successful essays.

Placement Support

You'll get allocated your own dedicated placement adviser, who will work with you to ensure you get the support you need to make the most of the professional work placements included with every degree.

Careers Support

Our careers advisers and in-house recruitment consultants will give you a head-start in preparing for your career, helping you with everything from developing an impressive CV, to sourcing you relevant graduate opportunities.

It's not just about student support, though. Our students get to study on a beautiful green campus just fifteen minutes from one of the UK's best student cities, have amazing opportunities to travel the world during their degree with our Study Abroad Programme, and get the chance to complete at least two professional work placements as part of a traditional three-year degree.

The results speak for themselves.

Not only are our students highly satisfied with their university experience, but they are also highly employable when they graduate.
