traditional hall of residence experience at the heart of campus? Look no
further than St Albans. Located within minutes of all main campus facilities,
St Albans is traditional hall of residence with 51 bedrooms, shared bathroom
and shower room facilities.
St Albans is part-catered, which gives you the best
of both worlds – the opportunity to prepare snacks in the communal kitchens, as
well as a £30 allowance each week to use in the campus Dining Room and café.
Each bedroom has a washbasin, single bed, fixed wardrobe, desk, desk chair, easy chair, reading lamp and bookshelves.
Bathrooms and shower rooms are shared by six students and the communal kitchens on each floor are shared by around nine students.
Internet access is provided in every bedroom at no extra charge.
You'll have access to our on-campus launderette 24/7.
You'll be given a swipe card to enter through the front doors and security key to your study bedroom. There is 24-hour security on the campus and there are regular patrols throughout the night.
There are four adapted ground-floor rooms to meet the needs of residents with disabilities.
Your accommodation contract includes a £30 per week food allowance. This will be loaded on to your student card, which you can use to pay for food in the Dining Room and the Lounge only a few minutes' walk away.
All prices listed are for 2018-19.
This hall is not available for two-year accelerated degree applicants. Please see Trinity Close, Ripon Hall or Whitby Hall for more details.
