One week work experience with freelance journalist Greg Miskiw,  which involved making calls and input with news stories. Two weeks Work placement with the Accrington Observer writing a number of small pieces in different areas. One week placement with Nigel Evans MP  at his summer constituency surgery, which included helping with press releases for local media.

I am currently writing for North leeds News, a publication made by trainees as part of the Print Journalism Diploma.

 

Shorthand (50 wpm), Quark, Interviewing, news writing.

My main interest is in sport. I have detailed knowledge of many different sports including Horse Racing, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Football, Darts and American Football. My specialist area is in the field of sports betting. I currently write for a sports website discussing the weekends sport and advising bets.
