A leading dental specialist in children's teeth has responded to claims by the NHS this week that the state of some youngsters' teeth in the Calderdale area is among the worst in the country.

Professor Monty Degall from Leeds Dental School says it's not the fault of the children or the parents, and the dental profession should regard the report as a wake-up call.
