The incident took place at about 3pm and the motorcyclist, who has not yet been named, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he received treatment for multiple injuries but he died in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A 21 year old man, who was driving a black Vauxhall Astra, was arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving.
