How the Union Council works...

Our structure means you can get involved from the start.  Once you register to study, you're entitled to Union Membership.

Union Council Meetings

Anyone with membership can come and speak. Elected Officers are allowed to vote.  Decisions dictate Union actions.

How Things Happen

Meetings work to a set Agenda.  Each item is taken in turn.  The length of time spent on each item is dictated by the elected Chair of Council.

The Decisions

The elected Executive Committee works outcomes into manageable plans of action. 

They set the budgets for events and campaigns.

Then they feedback to the Council and the student body. 

The Progress 

The officers implement the plans that have been structured, and improve the student experience at Leeds Trinity.
