Academic Achievement Award (Fee reduction for AAB students)
Here at Leeds Trinity we recognise and reward hard work. We are offering Academic Achievement Awards in the form of a £3,000 tuition fee reduction for high achieving students coming to us in September 2012. We know you will have worked very hard to achieve these qualifications and this award recognises your hard work and commitment.
Eligible undergraduate honours students on HEFCE funded courses (so any undergraduate honours course apart from primary education) who have achieved AAB at A level or equivalent* will receive a fee reduction of £3,000 in their first year.
This means that the tuition fee charged to students who are eligible for the fee reduction will be £5,000 in 2012/13.
Students do not need to ‘apply’ to Leeds Trinity for this fee reduction – students will be advised if they are entitled to it based on their results.
Applying for a Tuition Fee Loan
Students who do not yet know their results should apply for a Tuition Fee Loan of £8,000 from Student Finance England (or other relevant funding body). In August, when the results are released, students who achieve AAB (or equivalent)* will be contacted and advised how to amend their tuition fee loan from £8,000 to £5,000
Students who have already achieved AAB (or equivalent)* and have their results should apply for a tuition fee loan of £5,000 from Student Finance England (or other relevant funding body). Should you experience any problems with this please contact Emma Crompton, Student Adviser, studentfinance@leedstrinity.ac.uk / 0113 283 7173
