Professional Placements
Our students complete two six week unpaid professional placements in January/February and May/June each year. Placements are an essential part of the degree programme and our students benefit enormously by developing their employability skills and gaining valuable experience for their future careers.
What could students offer you?
Students can offer general support or work on a particular project. Work might include tasks such as: organising an event, marketing, administration, market research, PR, customer surveys, writing newsletters, writing reports, media support, annual reviews, producing a DVD etc. You can find out more information about placements from our Employer Handbook.
Interested?
We are very grateful to all our placement providers and the support they give our students. In return we hope that organisations also benefit from placements through the additional help, a fresh perspective, possible future recruitment, and the knowledge of making a huge difference to our students' careers.
