Local Residents
If you live or work locally you may join Leeds Trinity Library as a Visiting Member. Please apply at the Learning Centre Helpdesk on the ground floor of the Andrew Kean Learning Centre. Click here for information about opening hours.
You will need to bring proof of your identity (e.g. passport) and your address (e.g. recent utility bill) and provide a passport sized photograph.
You should receive your membership card within seven days of applying and will then be able to use the Library for reference purposes and to borrow items from Main Stock (standard loans only) and Classroom Resources for two weeks. Your membership will be valid for 12 months, after which you will need to re-apply.
Please note: access to the Leeds Trinity network or IT facilities will not be provided.
SCONUL Access Scheme for Students from Other Higher Education Institutions
The SCONUL Access Scheme is a reciprocal access service supported by most HE libraries in the UK and Ireland.
You may be eligible to join the Leeds Trinity Library if you are:
- A member of staff or research student at one of the member universities or colleges
- Registered as a full-time postgraduate or a part-time, distance learning or placement student.

Please note: Access to Leeds Trinity Library is by swipe card (membership card) only after 7:00 pm Monday to Friday and throughout all weekend opening hours.
