The Careers Service offers an impartial and confidential service to Leeds Trinity students and recent graduates seeking guidance and information about their future working lives or plans for further study.

The Careers Service is located in the Student Support Area (the AG floor).
Telephone: 0113 283 7151
Fax: 0113 283 7147

OPENING HOURS - We are usually open from Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 4.30pm throughout the year except for the Christmas Closure. During vacations, telephone us on 0113 283 7151 to check for service availability.

APPOINTMENTS - You can book an appointment to see a Careers Adviser at any point during your studies and up to 3 years after graduating.  To arrange this, call in to AG11 or phone us on 0113 283 7151.   Appointments of 40 minutes are available to pre-book for most mornings and afternoons but do book ahead.  Telephone appointments are possible by prior arrangement.  Don't leave booking an appointment until the last minute but book ahead - we endeavour to provide a guidance appointment within 10 working days.

STAFF - The Careers Service provides a confidential service to staff of Leeds Trinity University College. If you wish to make an appointment with a careers adviser please contact Anne-Marie Beddis (ext 390).

QUICK QUERIES - during term-time if you have an urgent or quick query call in to our lunchtime 'drop-in' sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1pm and 2pm where you can have a 10 minute chat with a Careers Adviser.

EMAIL ENQUIRIES - We are unable to book appointments by email.  If you have a brief enquiry you can email us at careers@leedstrinity.ac.uk.  Subject to Careers staff availability, we will endeavour to advise on draft application forms & CVs that are emailed to us as promptly as possible but cannot guarantee a turnaround time.  Checking drafts can be time consuming; to help meet your deadlines, we would ask you to email them to the Careers Service as early as possible.

CAREERS INFORMATION ROOM (AG11) - use our Careers Information Room to research possible careers, enterprise, self-employment and consider your future plans.  We have web-based and written information on courses, jobs and applications/CVs/interviews.

LUNCHTIME WORKSHOPS - Careers Advisers run lunchtime workshops on a range of topics including postgraduate study, applications, working freelance, going for interviews and job information.  Alongside these, all degree courses include an element of career preparation to help you identify your interests, skills and abilities and consider your career options and make plans.

THE JOBSHOP - if you wish to earn while you learn the Careers Service can help you find part-time and holiday work through our Jobshop.  The Jobshop also advertises graduate jobs.  Vacancy details are displayed in the Careers Information Room and on the Jobshop website.  For Jobshop enquiries telephone Julie Harding on 0113 283 7151 or email j.harding@leedstrinity.ac.uk
