Dyslexia & Disability Support
At Leeds Trinity University College everyone is respected for their individuality and encouraged to make their own contribution to our community, which is why we offer support to enable you to achieve your potential and enjoy your time here.
We aim to offer you the additional support you might need if you have a disability, medical condition, or a specific learning difficulty such as dyslexia. If you have a mental health concern we will be happy to discuss this with you and help you identify appropriate sources of support
- We can help you negotiate with your tutors about support you need for learning or assessment activities.
- We may be able to help you apply for Disabled Students’ Allowances. This grant can provide you with additional equipment, or pay for study support tutorials.
- We may be able to offer you support if you have a temporary disability (a broken limb for example)
We recommend that you come and visit us before you apply to Leeds Trinity, so we can discuss how we may best support you.
