Student Chaplaincy Group
This group, which meets once a term over a meal with the chaplain, comprises a number of students and has two responsibilities: to come up with ideas (no matter how wacky) for interesting social events; and to help implement these ideas. All are welcome to join at any point in the year.
Rome Pilgrimage Group
Monsignor Paul Grogan will lead a group of Leeds Trinity University College students on the second annual pilgrimage to Rome. The pilgrimage will take place in the last week of the Easter student holiday and will fly to Rome from Leeds/Bradford airport on Monday 16th April and return on Thursday 19th April. Accommodation will be in the Alessandro Palace Hostel and details of flight and accommodation costs will be available shortly.
Leeds Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes
Hale and hearty students are invited to join this year's Leeds Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes during the first week in July. Participants will assist sick and disabled pilgrims throughout the week and will be involved in fund-raising throughout the year to assist with the costs.
The Catholic Faith Group
Have you ever wanted to know more about what the Catholic Church teaches? Perhaps you were brought up a Catholic; perhaps you do not have any religious background. You may want to become a Catholic, or you may just enjoy a good discussion. This group, which meets every week, is informative, stimulating, challenging, enjoyable and life-enhancing! Each meeting begins with tea and coffee. The course runs through the year. Those who wish will be received into the Catholic Church at Eastertide.
The Christian Union
This is independent of the Chaplaincy and meets on Tuesday evenings between 6pm and 8pm to share the word and praise God. For further details, contact Gareth Czaja - garyczaja@gmail.com and Joseph Mukuku - joseph.mukuka@gmail.com for further details.
