Our programmes are enriched by the latest and most advanced research in mind to deliver an exceptional student experience with the support of our knowledgeable and professional industry-led academics who bring their own research to life.
The RAE (2008) results recognised our cutting-edge and established research reputation. Our History research area was judged world-leading and English, Theology and Religious Studies as internationally excellent.
In recent years, we have successfully competed for a number of external grants including a three year Creative Writing Fellowship funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council, and a £125,000 ‘Cooking Communities’ project funded by the All Saints Educational Trust.
We are an established provider of Continuing Professional Development, especially in the education and media sectors. Our academic staff have played a crucial role, for example, the Schools History Project has been based at Leeds Trinity for more than 25 years.
Through our undergraduate placement programmes we have sponsored a very significant number of small scale work-based studies of real benefit to commercial and public sector organisations across the region.
