Postgraduate Research Degrees
Leeds Trinity offers PhD and MPhil programmes within the University of Leeds’ postgraduate research degree programme. Students are registered at Leeds Trinity University College, and also with the University; they have at least one supervisor from Leeds Trinity and also a Leeds University supervisor or mentor. Research students at Leeds Trinity get the best of both worlds: a world-renowned research qualification, access to one of the most extensive research libraries in the country, and also the close personal contact with supervisors which a small institution can offer. Post-doctoral Fellowships
Leeds Trinity is recognised by the Research Councils as a host institution for post-doctoral fellowships.

Visiting Professors/Fellows
Leeds Trinity has a Visiting Lecturer/Professor programme, and we actively encourage staff from outside the UK looking for a sabbatical base in the UK to contact us to explore the possibilities of arranging a visit. We hope to be able to offer office space, access to computing and library facilities, and a lively collegial atmosphere.

Honorary Research Fellows
Leeds Trinity also recognises a number of Honorary Research Fellows, usually researchers without an official higher education affiliation. Fellows are given research support, are encouraged to take an active role in the research life of the institution, and are able to identify themselves as Research Fellows of Leeds Trinity.
