The event was a great success, making schools more aware of the variety of partnerships they can form with the institution. During the day, school partners worked with our staff and students in developing new materials for placements, and discussed ways to ensure students get the best outcomes from their placements.
The event was very well attended by numerous partner schools, as well as Leeds Trinity alumni who now work in Special Provision Schools.
Bev Forrest, Associate Principal Lecturer in Primary Education who organised the event, commented:
"The event was a celebration of the work we have been doing over the last 4 years. We are delighted to see how this experience has resulted in many of our students gaining employment in this sector. It made the day very special to be able to welcome some of them back to Leeds Trinity in their new roles."
