Leeds Trinity has the fairest fees in Yorkshire... again!
Leeds Trinity Graduation July 2012
We’re delighted to announce that in 2013-14, we will once again have the fairest fees in Yorkshire and the Humber, according to the latest release from the Office for Fair Statistics (OFFA).

Leeds Trinity’s access agreement with OFFA has been approved, and once again, a comparison with other universities in Yorkshire and the Humber has put Leeds Trinity lowest for its estimated average fee, estimated average fee after fee waivers and estimated average cost per student after allowance for financial support.

The annual tuition fees for our degrees in the academic year 2013-14 will be:

·         £2,250 for Home / EU students doing foundation degrees

·         £8,000 per year for Home / EU students doing 3 year undergraduate degree courses

·         £9,000 for Home / EU students doing 2 year undergraduate degrees

Foundation degree students will also qualify for a 50% reduction in their undergraduate fee if they top up to an honours degree course. Additional help will be available for eligible students through fee waivers and other measures.

Commenting on the release, Professor Freda Bridge, Principal and Chief Executive, said:

“We’re incredibly proud to offer Yorkshire’s fairest fees, without any compromise on quality. These figures affirm our determination to make higher education as accessible as possible for students with potential, no matter what their circumstances.

We’re continuing to invest in our campus to provide enhanced facilities for our students and student satisfaction remains very high. The quality of our academic provision has also been verified, once again, by figures released from the Higher Education Statistics Agency, which revealed 93% of our graduates are employed or in further study 6 months after graduating, keeping us in the top 20% of English universities for employability.”

One of the ways that Leeds Trinity strives to widen access to university is by running residential summer schools. Taking place each year, they help students develop confidence, motivation and attainment, as well as getting a taste of Higher Education to help them make an informed decision that’s right for them.

OFFA is an independent, non-departmental public body that promotes and safeguards fair access to higher education. The release detailed its decisions on access agreements for 2013-14, which are required by all universities to set out the fees they will charge and the measures they will put in place to widen access.
