Go further and faster with Trinity Performance
Sports laboratory at Leeds Trinity

Sports scientists from the Department of Sport, Health and Nutrition (SHN) have seen their consultancy service Trinity Performance go from strength to strength this year.

Trinity Performance was launched in the spring by John Perry, Associate Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology, to offer coach education, performance consultancy and fitness assessments to sportspeople whatever their interests and abilities.

John has already delivered successful coach education sessions for West Yorkshire Sport and other county Sports Partnerships across Yorkshire and the northeast.

John said, “Sport science is a great way to improve performance but it doesn’t just need to be for the elite. Everyone who plays sport wants to be better at it and we are making that support more accessible.”

“Our coach education sessions provide strategies to help coaches genuinely improve their own performance, and in turn, the performance of the individuals and teams they work with.”

The Sport, Health and Nutrition department at Leeds Trinity is ideally placed to facilitate Trinity Performance, with academic and practical expertise in training methods, psychology, weight management, sports nutition and performance analysis. Sessions can be delivered at Leeds Trinity’s dedicated sports laboratories or at your own premises.
