Yorkshire Writers In Education Gathering

Join us on Tuesday 17 September for a free networking event at Leeds Trinity University for Yorkshire writers involved in creative writing in educational and community settings.

What's happening?

Organised by the National Association of  Writers in Education (NAWE) and in partnership with Leeds Trinity University and First Story, this informal gathering is a great opportunity to meet up with fellow writers in education and swap ideas and information. There will be a chance to share experiences – the best and the not so good! – and explore areas of your work you'd like to develop.

Guests will also be able to take part in a 'writing in education taster' activity led by writer, performer and experienced creative writing facilitator Becky Cherriman.

Who should attend?

This event is open to all writers working in school, community, FE and HE settings (you don't need to be a NAWE member to come along) and is entirely free but booking is essential as places are limited.

Tuesday 17 September 2019
6.00 – 8.00pm

Leeds Trinity University, Brownberrie Lane, Horsforth, Leeds, LS18 5HD (Room AF20)

How can I book?

Please register your attendance via the Eventbrite page which can be found here.
