Join us at our next Leeds Trinity Business Networking lunch on Wednesday 24 October for our upcoming session on video marketing.
We'll have two inspiring and practical talks on successful video marketing campaigns that have helped inspire, engage and inform audiences, and that will leave you inspired to create videos of your very own.
Video Collaboration - David Collins (Director of External Affairs) and Natasha Brice (Corporate Partnerships Manager) from Opera North will be talking about and showcasing their innovative digital collaboration with Trinity Leeds shopping centre and how their short videos of flash mobs made such an impact on their social media outreach and profile.
Opera North is a national opera company based in Leeds and a leading UK arts organisation. Rooted in the North of England, international in outlook, that creates extraordinary experiences, every day. Their award-winning work tours to theatre stages and concert halls throughout the North and beyond, including to London and major international festivals, and curates an eclectic artistic programme of gigs, concerts, spoken word and film in the Howard Assembly Room. Their aim is to make bold, innovative, ambitious work and share it in new ways. Opera North believes opera and music is for everyone, and champions diversity in artists, repertoire and audiences.
DIY Video Marketing - Ryan Mulhern, a creative video marketer from First Frame Productions, will follow with a more practical guide on how small businesses can create their own video content to stand out from the crowd. Ryan believes that with the quality of smartphones anyone can make a video these days, so it's all about the content and how to use it to engage others.
Using live examples and a step by step guide, you will learn how to film and edit your first video using the right equipment and understand how creating videos for social media platforms can open up doors and generate new leads.
