The Open Day is your chance to find out how studying at Leeds Trinity University could help you progress in your career.
You'll have the opportunity to meet lecturers and ask about course content and assessments and learn about the application process. You'll also be able to chat to representatives from our student finance and support teams, who can give you information about the comprehensive package of support available for all Leeds Trinity students to access.

You'll have the chance to meet our lecturers and find out more about the following courses:
PGCE Secondary courses (University-led, School Direct and SCITT)
We’ve been training teachers for over 50 years, and have an excellent reputation in the region for supportive and successful training. On this open day, you'll learn about our university-led route and two school-led routes - SCITT and School Direct - for Primary and Secondary PGCEs. All three routes lead to qualified teacher status (QTS) and a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE).

This Open Day will also include information about our PGCE SCITT and School Direct courses.
PGCE SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training) – programmes have been designed by the schools in partnership with Leeds Trinity where trainees will complete their teacher training within a school environment.
PGCE School Direct – School Direct partnerships provide opportunities for trainees to work in a school environment for most of their training.
