Celebratory Mass at Leeds Cathedral

50th anniversary

Throughout the 2016- 17 academic year, Leeds Trinity University will celebrate its 50th anniversary. In just fifty years, we’ve transformed from two Catholic teacher training colleges into a University renowned for teaching excellence and producing highly employable graduates. As part of our yearlong programme of celebrations, we’re holding a Celebratory Mass at Leeds Cathedral on Tuesday 16 May 2017.

We’d love to welcome alumni, former staff, friends and partners of the University to the spectacular setting of Leeds Cathedral. The Mass will be presided over by the Bishop of Leeds, Bishop Marcus Stock.

2.30-3.30pm on Tuesday 16 May 2017

The Cathedral is a place of silence and prayer which provides a refuge from the activity of one of Britain’s busiest city centres. This atmosphere of peace has grown through the daily celebration of the Liturgy and every afternoon silent Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. This sense of God’s peaceful presence is the chief glory of the Cathedral.

How to book?
The Mass is free of charge to attend but please let us know you’re coming by booking your free place via Eventbrite.
