Inspiring Futures Programme Golf Tournament
On Saturday 18 August, Cookridge Hall will host our first Inspiring Futures Programme (IFP) Golf Tournament. Entry is open to staff, students, alumni, business partners and friends of the University.
The aim is to start an annual tournament that will grow each year involving a diverse range of players from the Leeds Trinity community whilst also raising some money for IFP (the strand that supports elite sports students at Leeds Trinity).
We have space for up to 24 players in the first tournament, where you'll be competing for the inaugural IFP Golf Trophy.
- 12.00pm - Coffee/tea and bacon roll (or vegetarian option)
- 12.30pm - Tee off time
- 4.45pm - Finish time (estimate)
- 5.00pm - Meal
- 5.30pm - Presentation
The format will be Two-Person Best Ball. This involves teams of two playing as partners, each playing their own ball throughout. After every hole each pair will compare scores. The lower score on the hole will reflect the team score for that hole.
£30 per person (£5 of which will go to IFP)
Usual golf etiquette applies, i.e. players need to wear golf shoes and no jeans.
