Creative Writing Workshops at Leeds Trinity

events, events:Community

Leeds Trinity University has launched a series of workshops and writing days to help aspiring and established writers develop their writing and work towards completing a novel, poetry or short story collection.

What's happening?

The series, which is called Write through the Winter, will lead up to the Leeds Trinity University Writers' Festival on Wednesday 13 March. It will include three workshops on aspects of creative writing and four Space to Write Days, where writers have the chance to work on their writing projects in a creative and friendly environment.

The workshops will be led by Leeds Trinity alumna including: children and young-adult novelist Liz Flanagan; author Ali Harper; crime novelist Liz Mistry; and poet and writer Maria Stephenson, who will lead the Space to Write Days.

The events are an addition to the Leeds Trinity Writers' Festival, which is now in its 15th year. The Festival has become a highlight on the local writing calendar providing the opportunity to work with professional writers, attend writing workshops and hear readings from our featured writers.
